What began as one potter's obsession is now Britain's most-loved independent tableware house — trusted by home cooks, chefs and stylists alike. We've grown, but the heart hasn't changed.
It started with one kiln
Founder Margaret Ellery fired her first run of plates in a converted Sheffield workshop, selling them at the Sunday market. Word travelled fast.
From market stall to studios
We began partnering with small ceramics studios across Britain and Europe — never factories, always people we know by name.
Yourmeal is born
We took our table online so families everywhere could set a more beautiful one. Over 1,000 five-star reviews later, we're still family-run.
